SG Safe

The SafeGear SG is a certified security safe for homes and small offices, graded S1 to EN 14450 — the European standard for secure safe cabinets. The range runs from 36 to 89 litres across four sizes, for cash, documents, jewellery and everyday valuables.

Certified S1 burglary protection

Every SG safe is tested for burglary resistance to EN 14450 security level S1, rather than rated by its own maker. EN 14450 sits one tier below EN 1143-1 and is intended for domestic use and small businesses, where an insurer does not require a full burglary grade. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your SG safe

All four sizes share a 405 mm width and 385 mm depth and differ only in height, from 300 to 740 mm — so a larger model fits the same alcove or cupboard and simply stands taller. Each takes two to eight lever-arch binders. Choose a key lock with two keys or a single-user electronic code lock. A movable shelf is included, and every safe can be bolted down to a floor or wall using the supplied anchor points.
